Energy-boosting smoothie bowl
This green smoothie bowl recipe was devised by lifestyle blogger Jemma Andrew-Adiamah (celeryandcupcakes.com) with the school run in mind: ‘I’ve included spinach and avocado for healthy fats and chia and cashew nuts for protein. Ginger boosts energy, and you’ve got at least three of your five a day in just one bowl.’
- Chop the kiwi, avocado and apple into chunks and blitz until smooth along with the spinach, chia seeds, cashew nuts, ice cubes, ginger and coconut water.
- Pour into a bowl and garnish with extra chia seeds, cashew nuts and chopped kiwi, arranging them in lines across the bowl.
