Get in the festive spirit with this gingerbread egg nog recipe, created exclusively for Lidl by spirits specialist Tristan Stephenson. Served warm with a dusting of cinnamon, it showcases the flavours of our Hortus gingerbread liqueur. This recipe makes one drink, but is easily scaled up to make a bigger batch – you can even chill the mixture and serving it cold.

  1. Add the milk and sugar to a small pan and heat until almost boiling, then remove from the heat and whisk in the egg and gingerbread liqueur. 
  2. Pour into a handled glass and dust lightly with cinnamon to serve.
