Not everyone has a sweet tooth – this Ploughman's scone recipe is a teatime alternative for cheese lovers to enjoy, and works particularly well with our Deluxe West Country Crunchy Cheddar. For extra texture, add a handful of toasted and chopped walnuts.  

  1. Slice the scones in half and spread each piece with the caramelised onion chutney.
  2. Finely slice the apple and cut the cheese into thick slices.
  3. Arrange the cheese on top of the scones and top with a few slices of apple.
