Spirits specialist Tristan Stephenson, the Curious Bartender, developed this pretty pink cocktail exclusively for Lidl: 'This refreshing twist on a mojito adds a splash of rosé wine for a fruit kick, perfect for summer sipping. Hortus gin is a citrus-forward recipe, and this is enhanced by fresh lime, mint and red fruit notes from the wine.'
- Very gently bruise the mint leaves in a high ball glass using a roll pin or muddler, add the gin and stir well.
- Make the sugar syrup by heating the sugar and water together until dissolved. Measure out 15ml and add to the glass with the crushed ice, lime and rosé.
- Stir to mix the ingredients and top up wth extra ice and soda. Garnish with berries and more fresh mint to serve.
