With a lovely bite from the apple and demerara sugar for a nice bit of crunch, we've suggested ingredients to make this cake which you can pick up in your local Lidl store.

Preparation
Next, make the crumble by rubbing together the flour, butter, demerara sugar to give your cake a lovely crunch and crumbled Lancashire cheese for tang.
For the cake, whisk unsalted butter, sour cream and golden caster sugar for 4-5 minutes. Then add the large eggs.
Fold in self raising flour, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Finally fold in the apple mixture.
Spoon into a greased, line 20cm cake tin and add the crumble on top. Bake at 180°C for approximately 50-55 minutes.
Serve with crème fraiche or custard.
Firstly, cook on a hob cooking apples, eating apples for bite (both peeled and chopped), sugar and vanilla extract for 10 minutes or until softened. Leave to cool.
