Preparation

    Up your burger game with these super easy waffle sliders. Think sticky shredded barbecue beef rib covered in a blanket of cheese and topped with a tangy slaw – sandwiched inside two toasty waffles.

  1. Cook the beef ribs according to packet instructions.

  2. Meanwhile, make the slaw; finely slice both cabbages and the onion and then grate the carrot. Chop the gherkins for tang and then combine everything in a large bowl.

  3. Whisk together the mayonnaise and gherkin brine and then drizzle over the vegetables. Toss to combine and season well. Set aside.

  4. When the beef has cooked, shred the sticky meat and set aside. Heat the grill to medium.

  5. Lightly toast the waffles. Put four waffles on the grill pan and divide the shredded beef among the bases. Top each with a slice of cheese and grill for 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbling.

  6. Top with the slaw for crunch followed by the remaining toasted waffles. Serve straight away.
