Preparation
Method
1. Grill your bacon for 6-8 minutes until crispy and then chop into small pieces. Preheat your oven to 180C. Cook your pasta according to pack instructions in a large pan of salted water.
2. In another large saucepan, melt your butter over a medium heat. Add the flour and stir to cook it out. Add your milk all at once and whisk gently. Increase your whisking speed as the sauce bubbles and thickens. Add the cheese and stir until melted.
3. Drain your pasta and then pour into the cheese sauce. Add your bacon bits and then pour into an ovenproof dish. Top with the breadcrumbs and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
