Chocolate brownie Christmas trees
Baking blogger Britt Whyatt (shewhobakes.co.uk) cleverly transforms our Belbake Chocolate Brownie Mix into fun and festive cake pops. Cutting and decorating the brownie trees is a great activity for your little ones to help with.
- Grease a tray bake tin (or baking tray) and preheat the oven to180ºC/160ºCfan/gas mark 4.
- Make up the brownie mix according to packet instructions and pour evenly into the tin. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, or until cooked through, then remove from the oven and leave to cool.
- Using a cutter (or cardboard template and knife), cut out Christmas tree shapes from the brownie batch. Pipe green icing across the 'trees' in zig zag shapes, then decorate with hundreds and thousands.
- Snap the curved end off the candy canes and discard. Break the remaining straight lengths in half and push 1 in the base of each brownie tree as a trunk.
