Creamy mushrooms on garlic bread

When you’re looking for a tasty way to start a special meal, this mushrooms on garlic bread recipe, created by My Lidl Community member @Cristinaagavilan, is super simple to make. It also works well as a delicious snack or brunch dish.
- Start chopping two garlic cloves really small and fry them in a pan with a tablespoon of butter. Then add the 350g mushrooms - cut as you prefer and let them cook until they start getting toasted. Now add 140ml of single cream and cook for five minutes including some salt and pepper. Once this is cooked, add as much cheese as you like and mix.
- Bake the bread for 10 minutes in the oven according to packet instructions, and when it starts to turn brown, cut it in slices and put the creamy mushrooms on the bread slices. I like to grill this with more cheese on the top and then enjoy!
