Preparation
- Butter 4 slices of white bread and toast under the grill until it turns a delicious golden colour.
- Flipping to the untoasted side, top half the bread with 2 slices of ham for smokiness and 2 slices of Emmental cheese for richness. Spread the remaining bread with more butter and Dijon mustard for punch.
- Grill again for 1 minute, then sandwich together and grill for a further 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Meanwhile, fry 2 eggs to your liking and slide on top of each sandwich before serving.
