This festive take on the classic amaretto sour, packed with seasonal clementine and fragrant cinnamon, is perfect for sipping by a twinkly tree.

- 30 ml whisky
- 30 ml amaretto
- 30 ml sugar syrup (see Tip)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 clementine
- Ground cinnamon
- 0,5 egg white
Preparation
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the whisky, amaretto, sugar syrup, fresh citrus juices, a pinch of cinnamon and egg white. Shake vigorously for 1 minute.
Fill two tumblers with ice and strain in the cocktail. Dust with cinnamon for warmth.
Put 100g caster sugar in a pan with 50ml water. Heat over a gentle heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool. Makes enough for 6 tablespoons of syrup.
