    Banana, bran and peanut butter smoothie bowls

    Bring out your creative side with this pretty breakfast smoothie bowl, decorated with a combination of nuts, seeds, fresh fruit and our High Fibre Bran cereal. The smoothie itself gets its creaminess from the frozen banana, so you could easily swap the milk for soy milk to make this a vegan breakfast.

  1. Peel and chop the bananas into 1cm thick pieces, transfer to a zip-lock bag and freeze for 3 hours, or overnight, until solid.

  2. The next day, add the frozen banana pieces, milk, peanut butter and honey to a blender and blitz until smooth.

  3. Divide the smoothie mixture between 2 bowls and top each with the bran, strawberries, seeds and Nutella before serving.
