Not everyone has a sweet tooth - this Ploughman's scone recipe is a teatime alternative for cheese lovers to enjoy, and works particularly well with our Deluxe West Country Crunchy Cheddar. For extra texture, add a handful of toasted and chopped walnuts.
- Slice the scones in half and spread each piece with the caramelised onion chutney.
- Finely slice the apple and cut the cheese into thick slices.
- Arrange the cheese on top of the scones and top with a few slices of apple.
