Preparation
- Place the pots onto the plate and fill with a dip of your choice. These will become Polly’s eyes. Use parsley to make the eyelashes and cut a tomato in half to make the eyes.
- Build a circle of sugar snap peas to make Polly’s tummy. If you don’t have sugar snap peas, green beans or mangetout are perfect too!
- Next use slices of cooling cucumber to place around the tummy, followed by tasty tomatoes – this will be Polly’s body.
- Finally, cut the peppers into thin slices and make into wings and hair. Use yellow peppers to make the beak and feet – carrots work well too!
Top tip: A hoot for parties!
