This punchy teriyaki tofu steak recipe would make a great midweek meal when time is tight. With sticky sweet chilli sauce and crunchy carrots, serve with two portions of your favourite vegetables.
On a plate, press down on a block of tofu using a potato masher to squeeze out any excess moisture, then chop horizontally into 4 thick slices.
Mix 4 tbsp each of teriyaki sauce for punch and sweet chilli sauce for stickiness, brushing over the tofu. Griddle in batches.
Serve with 1 pack Ready to Wok noodles stir-fried with chopped snack peppers, ribbons of rainbow carrots for crunch, fresh coriander for zing and a drizzle of teriyaki sauce.
