Preparation

Turn your kitchen counter into a five-star smoothie bar. Whip up two sublime smoothies, then serve them alongside a pick-and-mix selection of toppings. There is no easier way to do brunch for a crowd.

  1. To make the tropical tango smoothie, put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blitz until smooth and creamy – you want the mixture to be a bit thicker than you would for a regular smoothie as it needs to hold the ingredients on top. Transfer to a jug, rinse out the blender or food processor and repeat with the ingredients for the fresh very berry smoothie.

  2. Put the smoothie bar ingredients in separate small bowls and line up on your serving table. Serve the colourful smoothies in bowls topped with whatever takes your fancy from the smoothie bar.
