    This comforting mulled cider recipe is the perfect autumn cocktail using Lidl ingredients. Apple and rum go wonderfully well together and combining both apple juice and cider really helps to bind the ingredients. Finish with a dusting of cinnamon.

  1. Combine the cider, apple juice, rum and sugar together in a pan and heat gently for 10 minutes with the lid on - don't let it boil.
  2. Once warmed through, divide the apple slices between glasses or mugs and top with the warm cider. Serve hot.
